Southern Tier Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo (D) will discuss two issues related to the recent flooding in her district: Updating the flood plain maps as well as her package of legislation aimed at exempting emergency expenditures by school districts from the state’s new 2% property tax.
And Hudson Valley State Senator Greg Ball (R) wants Governor Cuomo to tour regions in Pennsylvania badly impacted by gas drilling; plus, he’s pushing legislation called the Property Owner’s Bill of Rights that will create new standards for safe hydrofracking in New York.
